New to the AMG Club!! Just sayin hi! v.Chicago Crew
Hi everybody!
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Derek and I purchased an 07 Obsidian Black E63 on Thursday. Ive been lurking around this forum for the past few days and decided to sign up since you guys seem really cool. I am in the chicagoland area.
I do have one question. I was just wondering how long you guys broke in your cars for? I am at 228 miles (I picked her up with 182). I know the manual says to take it easy till 1000. Do you guys have any other tips for me?

I wont be around the 17th either. 
Either the week before or after would be great though. I was crusing up and down 355 today. Saw a black CLS63 and a bunch of BMW's that were trying to get me to race.

How about we meet at Dave & Buster's in Addison. Huge parking lot right off the highway - we could eat there, then maybe blast downtown? Or maybe take a drive somewhere else to eat? The food there is mediocre at best, but with groups it's always tough to make everyone happy.
I suppose what we do will depend on attendance. Lets get a firm headcount first. I'll be happy to help with arrangements. A Chicago MB meet has been a long time coming - in all the years I've been on this forum I still have never attended an MB meet.
