Q to those who live in snowbelt area

If you drive your car year-round, do you have an extra set of snow tires or allseasons? if snow tires, do you use performance winter tires like dunlop M3, or hardcore tires like Blizzak ws50

For those with winter 'garage-queens' need not apply.. lol

You're definitely not the first. Been there, done that with my old beast. I did that on the day of my psychiatry exam when I was in first year

To answer the OP's question: Yes, I run a dedicated set of snow tires (Bridgeston Blizzak LM25) on stock rims during winter (from November to March). I actually beat a lot of SUVs on the Mass Pike and the car feel pretty confident in the snow.

I'll be running Dunlop M3 non-staggered 18" on the Bimmer this winter
