Yeah!!! can you believe it. And he was sliding around like crazy upon launch. Glad I stayed the hell away from him. There was a modded C6 doing just slightly slower. That car makes up speed effortlessly. That guy was a good driver as he really maximized the shift points. He said "its stock".. I guess I thought he was running faster. Perhaps the Z06 12 seconds with terrible 60fts is pretty good. The E63 was a mere 4/10th behind that Z06, I think after watching the video I would have beaten him as seemingly all fast cars choke when they line up against the torqueless. My car caused the clock in the E55 to spin violently backwards.

Were you running race gas mixture like you said you were going to try on a different thread? 113 is a nice trap!

i dont know how the 65 hooks up he just pulls up and hammers it no wheel spin. i have DRs with a burn out traction controll on and still spin the tires. i also roll into the gas best i can ( i dont just hammer it) i did loose to the blonde due to red light i figured i better get a perfect jump or i will loose anyways.

mikey i use the stock rims with BFG DRs 28 psi. i do a burn out no water, turn the traction controll on and roll into the gas. and i still spin?
i seriously can launch better on my street set up. next track meet im gonna run my street rims and tires i bet i get the same times or better.
DO NOT RUN STREET TIRES, a few pointers if I may....u need to be in dyno mode for 2 major reasons the first being most power put to the ground in dyno mode the second being that is the ONLY way you will be ably to do a burnout. If you follow these directions you will not spin and your car will leave so hard it will scare you Put your car in dyno mode, make sure your rear drag radials tires are at 18PSI cold, drive thru the water but stop at the edge, do a monster john force style burnout and let is drag up to the line, when youre ready to leave the line DO NOT roll onto the gas smash the fuc* out of the pedal thru the floor and dont let off until u cross the 1/4. You will not go into the wall because your tires will be extremely sticky. FYI a cold drag radial can have worse traction that a street tire. By not being in dyno mode you are not able to get the tire to the proper operating temp thru a proper burnout.

haha thats the race where juice made the clock go backwards in the white 55 (mine i wasnt drivin tony gave it a run) every time juice lines up with my car something happens thats when my ECU went down. i think they were botn around 13 sec. when tony pulled in the pit the clock was spinning bacwards and making a crazy exhaust note like it had a super cam in it. last time we raced i got a 22sec ET at 50mph. lol
there will be no more lining up with juice in my 55 next time ill probably hit the wall.
juice your still my favorite drag racer, you crazy SOB.

if im in dyno mode i wont have traction controll and i dont know where you race, but here there is no way in hell the tires will stick!
why go in the water?
will a 20 ft burn out be enough to warm the tires?
john force JR ( juice 63 ) does massive burn outs (10-15secs) in his no torque 63 (lol) and still spins a bit.

the tires will stick, youre not doing a burnout, you must get the tires wet enough to make them spin hard to make them get hot, juice is running road race tires not drag radials, when you administer proper inflation and burnout they work, if not they will give the results you have experienced. You wont need traction control when the tires are sticky, trust me.

ok bro i will try it! but i pretty sure last time he had DRs i think tony did also (E63). but trust me the water is not needed. it will spin all the way down the track. i know i already did it half way.
dammit when is the track open again?

Yes, ran 100 octane plus 91 trying to maximize to 93+. Car definately improved up top so I am hopeful. The C6 was running low 12 and Z06 12 flat. But the trap speed of the vettes were really amazing. 120 plus everytime. Somebody eventually will get traction

You may need real slicks? Jay how much torque does your car put down? I think this 55 just wants to break loose , maybe a set of true slicks will do the trick. This is definately something we need to solve. Tom has BFG and I was running Nitto which are less sticky than the BFG but more so than the pilot sport cups. My car simply bogs if the tires are too sticky, your car should bolt out as Jay suggests. I would imagine his 600 is putting down very similar numbers power/torque wise perhaps more torque. I think the lack of track prep really hurts the 55 as he breaks loose all the way down the track. Even the SLK starts in C mode to avoid breaking traction, Tommy ran a 12.2 in Jesse's car. We have some work ahead, tires are definately a starting point . Car is potentially soooooo fast

i have zero turbo lag trust me, its 2K+ "on boost" launch with zero wheels spin, that power is to the ground immediately. ben treynor launches the 65 the same way at your track, on boost. i bet youll be surprised at your results

thats it!

I'm just getting a set of OZ's for the rear and throwing on MT Drag Radials.

My car just has way too much torque down low ...

Heh I wonder how it would be driving on drag radials all the time.

Juice were you able to make it home in time without getting it from the Miss, or are you in the dog house?

Rocket thanks for the nutrition advice, Eat More!
