the truth of the video is that the M6 is towing a 32' sea ray.

I see cars like that at the track all the time. I think I am hauling ***, and I am...but then WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, I get totally blown by a turbo or some other FI car. lol. Those phuckers are bad ***! But it is $$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get them that way!
Speed = Money .... How fast do you want to go? lol

That is what I thought as well, but if you listen closely, he is the one honking the horn. It doesn't even look like the M6 was accelerating, but I think that is because by the time his car began to accelerate the race was over...

OK do the math,
2000-2002 P car with a few miles-$ 60-70K + 70k in upgrades= 130K -Too Much Money!!!! Eventhough you will blow away everyone that comes near you, well almost everyone.....Might as well buy a 997TT and stick with it lol!

Scotts car is fast. No doubt.
I would love to see him run Alex and Chad in their 996tt's. Chad's car (if it ever leaves the shop) should be a tad north of 1200hp.

LOL! And what do you think that video would look like if you replaced the M6 with a brand new 997TT? Exactly the same my friend. I personally think there is value in buying a used 996TT or better yet a used 996 GT2 and getting the upgrades.

You beat me to the punch. The 997TT isn't much faster than the M6. I know, I've already had that encounter and after about 3 runs the owner said, "I love your car. That's what I'm getting when the lease runs out on this!" He was probably just embarrassed after loosing on the freeway and the street because I wouldn't go from a 997TT to the E55!

I ran him about 2 months ago. Nice cool day. We did two passes on the freeway (pretty empty) from about 60 to 130. I walked him both passes. We then got on the street where we went from a dig and I got out about 2 cars and continued to pull up to about 100 mph. That's when he threw in the towel.

I think Rudy would have easily walked him.. Tiptronic or no tiptronic. Racing from a roll on a highway I think a modded E55 can WALK a 997 911TT. Lets leave the magazines alone and look at real world footage and experiences.

Ok, so that is about as bad as I got beat by my friends (DJ Self) 996TT in my stage 3+ E55. I want to see these two guys race -- VA and MD cars.
I will thrown down $100 into the pot for a Lily Pons race.

Agreed, but no mention was made of mods. I'm a big fan of the E55 but modded vs modded is another story
