Value of my used E63?

I've put my e63 up for sale. What do you think I should be able to get for this car? MSRP w/ Gas Guzz. was around 91,800. It is Iridium silver, with bl. leather. P2 package,Nav, sirius. great shape with 3900 miles. I've got it priced at 82,500 on Autotrader(ZC 29464), and already dropped it from 85k. Not willing to give it away, just want a fair selling price. Do I have it too high?

Reason for selling??? I am looking at 996TT's and 997TT's. I was real happy with acceleration and interior finish, but realize I miss the edgieness and handling of the P-cars.

Any honest inputs are appreciated.

Regards,
Pilot e63

It's difficult to say. Brand new E63s on the lot have been being discounted as much as $7k off sticker for a while now.

I think you are a little high

New lease deals and deep discounts at dealers would make it hard to compete at that price. Plus 08's are around the corner so you can expect full years worth of depreciation by July (~25%) from MSRP I would guess. Did you get a trade number on the 996/7? Might be the least hassle to let them deal with it.

You aren't going to like the responses. If you leased it at a special deal, consider transferring the lease. Even then, new ones have nice lease offers now. It just isn't a sellars market on these right now.

Hang on to the car unless you want to take a substantial bath. Check with Vic on the recent auctions and you will see that the cars are going substantially south of $80,000.

2006 E55 Wagon (RIP), 2019 E63S Wagon (Sold) 2023 AMG GT634S
My thoughts as a buyer were this:

I would pay about 10% more for a new car than a used car - as I was finding used E55's for about $65K back in December when I bought mine, so $72K-73K was a reasonable deal for me for new.

If news cars are being heavily discounted - you'll have to compete at least 10% less than their "new" price - not their sticker price and it won't be pretty.

$92K list, can be bought for $84K, then you better be around $75K for me to even start looking........ UNLESS you've dumped a GREAT extended warranty in with that - like the 7 year / 100K miles.....

If a car has depreciated before its even been sold, as is the case with many E63's, I'd say you're gonna be more than a little butthurt about what you sell that thing for. If you want a car that won't depreciate, I'd suggest a 993TT. Low mile examples still go north of $100k

I have seen discounts to $11K off msrp, and that $999.00 lease is hard to beat. And now 08s are on the way.

It was a while back. It takes patience and a cooperative sales guy . In our case, we had a buyer that was serious and a seller that was professional

Nah my friend from the South ... I realized that what Laguna Niguel did was what everyone else is doing now- giving the 63's away. I recently got a quote with 1500 drive off on a 95k msrp car (White w/pano= nice) and the payment was 950 plus tax for 33 months. I didnt even come close to biting.

CH said the 63's have been depreciating even before they are sold and Ill say they have been depreciating since they were built. Its a little harsh but here are some recent sales:

05/30/07 ATLANTA Regular $75,000 9,336 BLACK 8G A Yes
05/30/07 ATLANTA Lease $73,500 10,786 BLACK 8G A No
05/24/07 RIVRSIDE Regular $74,000 3,863 GRAY 8G A Yes
05/15/07 DFW Regular $78,250 597 SIL-755 8G A Yes
04/26/07 RIVRSIDE Lease $76,500 3,251 BLACK 8G A Yes
04/11/07 W PALM Regular $77,400 5,082 SILVER 8G A Yes

Well, you can't imagine how many people will be looking at the auction prices and starting to act. Wait another six to eight months and the cars will be in the $65,000 to $70,000 range. Hard to believe but a little patience pays off. That's why I have a lease that I can get out of when the e63tt comes out!

Is it confirmed that the 6.2L motor will get the turbos?? do you know when? this is good b/c i like NA engines and the E63TT will drive the E63 prices even further down.

Lease Deal and Discount?

Is it reasonable to think that a dealer would offer the $999/.00115/63%/36 month deal and discount the MSRP by 5K?

No

You could get 5K discount, 27Month (62%, 60% for 33, 65% 24) with 00115 MF. 36 Month Residual is 55%. 33 is the current sweet spot at 60%. (NOTE: these are all with 15K milage)
