E55 Became an E500?!
This has happened before but not in a long time. Yesterday, on a closed racing circuit some place on the moon, a Dodge Charger SRT8 (w/ intake and exhaust) ran an 04 E55 and got the jump. The E55, though floored, didn't really drop down a gear but still reeled in the SRT8 as the revs climbed. Then, on another lunar run, both punched it early and the SRT8 did its thing but the E55 just languished as it seemed that all of the boost from the SC had gone away. A few minutes later, all was normal again on the boost front. What happened? Does heat soak turn an E55 into and E500?

I would say, take the runs back down to Earth. Oxygen is sparse up there, and your supercharger isn't harnessing enough air to make any power.
Once you get back down here, replace your IC pump.

Thanks guys, does the I/C pump fail randomly and then come back to functioning fine sometimes?
Before my mods, guy in a Maxima was messing with me. Car had been running completely normal with hard acceleration runs, then I went to just devastate him on the pass and got the wahhhhhhhhhh (car bogging sound). Car just barely squeaked by him. Funny part is we both were equally pi$$ed. He got killed and I had no supercharger.

Heat soak is common on the superchargers. After a few hard runs, you will loose the power and it will be noticeable. Also, as was mentioned before the I/C can fail. Many members complain of loss of power after several hard runs. It will return after it cools down. I believe there are some aftermarket I/Cs which will help this.

So, it isn't worth it to get yet another OEM pump put on the car, huh? It sounds like it is a limitation of the stock part vs. a defective unit on the car. Man, that sucks. What is the best source for an aftermarket unit that will outperform the stocker?

I think there's one that the ford lightning uses I think it's the bosch pump which is supposedly good/better than oem
