Rock has the highest non NOS trap speed, I think it was 125+.

2014 GL 350 on order
After my K2 setup with LSD on stock tires she ran a 118 trap speed. After the recall best was 112. Cory is still helping me sort out the power loss.
Recent trip to Milan dragway was 12.19 with 1.787 60' on BFGDR. Will keep you posted.
BTW, if you get big wheelspin on launch can't that artificially elevate your trap speed?? Engineers? Anyone? Joker

My traps have always been consistent regardless of my 60. This data is from three different cars and ~250 runs. The only trap hurt by lack of early traction was my first run years ago when a friend of mine (with 2 decades of racing experience) told me not to lift. I didn't, and my street tires finally hooked up in third gear. I've never had a car shudder so much for so long. I thought it was going to disintegrate...

That said, many of the mercedes I've seen run have serious traction issues thanks to the heavy car and ungodly torque. I suspect those runs will give away a mph or two at the top end.

oops scratch that, his best trap speed has been 124.6 close enough to 125 but not 125 +. That will come once he gets back to the track in the fall.

Albert is right, 124.6 is my best trap speed but I have a few runs in the 124+ range since I installed the Vrus 80mm TB. I am waiting until Vic sends the rest of his airbox set up before I return to the track. I have no doubt that our cars can trap at 125+ without the juice. With all the stuff that we keep bolting onto our cars it's just a matter of time.

I wonder if 125+ has already been done but not posted.............. was Malcom's car for real or as much of scam as his shop?

Does any one know what stage Bleek has his car? I'm sure that if it's the real deal it has to be running at 130+.

Albert, are you still going to ship your car north of the boarder for a little dance?

If Bleeks car is indeed modded like he says it is,it should trap some really high numbers.Or blow up.

Who knows about Malcoms car, with the two stages of nos.

Bleeks car should definitely run some good numbers off the nos. Your car has the potential of 125 + you have been close already. I would switch to an asp pulley or one of Victor's new two piece larger crank pulley.

That is the game plan if everything works out, PTE and 305-e55 are also planing to come with, my buddy's race car trailer can take three cars. We should try and make it a big event sometime in the early fall when the weather will be better, either way I expect to see you there.

Russ, to be honest I'm not sure if I had on the 275 or 285 tires the last time I was at the track. I did have a bad intake pressure sensor that likely caused a step-back of the SC to protect the engine on my runs.

I have had it fixed but have not returned to the track yet. I have been very busy with work, family and surfing the net for good ****.

Unfortunately no weekend rentals unless its offseason and even then its $$$. I say we wait til the fall when its cooler temps. I rent it at least 3-4 times a year so I'll keep you posted. I'm still workin on allowing them to let us run heads up. They let us run heads up 2 years ago and then they stopped "due to insurance reasons"
Here is a video showing cars in the staging lanes of a rental I did last year at Capitol raceway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyTB7bn6Yhg
And here is a video clip of MIR earlier this year (only clips of the ICS turbo BMWs; the red car is a 328i and is NO JOKE 996whp on hi boost but they keep breaking crap on low boost! ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBV-6qU-ly8
I'm sure they'll come out to play again. I can set it up whenever you guys want to come.

the track isnt always like that, but thats how it should be, I always walk the first 60ft to check track conditions and a properly prepped track should literally take you almost out of your shoes.

You have to keep in mind that it was at a rental, not a test and tune. But yea, it was super sticky!!! They just shot a episode of PINKS all out there last weekend.

I see...

The reason I'm asking is that I cant get better then 12.8 in regular payment road with 285/30 andc with 275/30 I could do 12.5....may its the weather...when I did 12.5 it was quite cold...

How did find that you had bad intake pressure sensor, did you feel anything when driving ???
