yea when i race my cl600 against my e55 both stock, my cl600 laughs at my 55.

 

Not sure what you are referring to because I think the CL600 and my car are evenly matched. To be honest we had very bad starts and there definitely wasn't enough road space. I think this is certainly a match up designed for the Supercar Shootout where we can run for a full mile.

 

well i have a 2007 cl600 stock and e55 stock and to about 110 the 600 has about 1.5-2 car lengths on the 55. it seems also that the 600 is still pulling harder at that stage but my 600 is still factory limitied to 135 so a mile would not be a good comparison stock vs stock.

 

The CL600 is a beautiful car. Not sure why MB would want to limit a V12 twin-turbo car at 135mph. Thats just not right.

 

I know i will have that removed ..soo but i have to say...it is another reason why they try to get people to buy the 63 instead of the 600. 1) they do not offer sport package on the 600 weird?
2) they limit the top speed strange cuz it is faster?
3) they say same 0-60 but we all know that 150+ lbs.?ft of torque MUST make a difference.
it is all marketing.
v12 is they way to go in S and CL cars....especially since the 55 komperssor is no longer offered.

This was the first race. I took off early because I didn't know about the 3 honking start. I was already ahead of them by about a few car lengths in the right lane when they started racing. I heard the 3 honks and they were approaching me very fast; I waited until they were about right behind me and then I punched it. It was a wierd race, but fun anyway. Sleeper and I were doing about 160 at the end of the video.

 

160mph? I thought we were doing 65mph.. LMAO!
We should definitely do it again when we have some open roadways..

I can hear the Silver E55 really pulling to catch up to the giant head start of the CL. The CL was not even in the video frame when the honks took place.

From what I can see.. the E55 reeled the CL at one point and let off the gas. From that point the CL kept on the pedal and appeared to destroy the E55.

Listen to the audio and you can easily tell Sleeper X was off the gas.

Either the CL was fully WOT or the E55 has crazy power..

to me.. I give the credit to the E55 for reeling the CL back.

It was a nice run guys...Here's what happened from my point of view...both cars were faster than mine...but from that video, i just let off the gas after SleeperX gained about 3 car lengths on me b/c there was a car ahead of me in the middle lane if u look at the video closely..
Me and Andrew-NY had a short run (around 60-110mph on the way home) and he had a bad start i guess (I got the jump when we started... ), but it walked away after 100mph....
Next time, we should do it again with more space~plus SleeperX, im definately getting tb put on asap.. i couldnt believe how fast ur car was..i wasnt expecting it~!!! what an amazing cars you guys got...very impressed!!! it was good seeing you guys though...had lot of fun~

 

Nice runs guys....I was being harassed by Ferraris,Z06's&supercharged Vettes on a different road.
I did do a 60-120mph roll against my friends '07 GSXR-600 and got beat by a car length

 

I have a Kleemann stage 2+ Evosport cooling package+ Quaife LSD+ Eisenmann race muffler with custom 304 stainless steel cat back+ 19' HRE C20s+ Evosport rotors, and other cosmetic stuff.....
and trust me! i couldnt believe how fast their cars were...

i ask because i ran what appeared to be an older model 600 gsxr and i pulled on him from 85-140+ by 1/2 a car or so in my 997s

possible???
my car is as fast an e55 up top (100+) (before the airbox)see kill stories

 

I was in the 63,and the bike has a full exhaust&a custom map,puts down 118rwhp.But the biggest performance gain is the rider:he weighs 120lbs w leathers on

However,he was in the right gear&at the right rpm.That makes a huge difference

We need to get some video of YOUR car against a Z06. I cannot be the only one who is severely depressed after watching that other video on Saturday. Your car looks insanely quick!

 

Yes, if you look at the video closely you can see AMG Rider let off the gas when he is switching lanes. I wish there was more open space as when I caught up with Andrew-NY in the CL, I also ran out of space. We were doing about 160+ when we reached the bridge. The road began to curve and there were cars quickly approaching and despite my desire to keep going, my rationale mindset told me to let off the gas. Not a lot of room for error on a bridge. Hopefully we will have a chance to do it again. I would love to see these two cars head to head at the Supercar Challenge. As car enthusiasts we should have already had a video similiar to Gustav running our cars against each other as well as other types of cars..

AMG Rider I would definitely recommend that you get the TB. But if you do, I might have to remove my primary cats...

 

We should put our cars together at some point, besides the dragstrip as there are too many variables involved. On a cool day in the fall when we wont be at any disadvantages lets try to get some runs in where we have some room...I will have videos shortly of me against some M5's and we are trying to get a zo6 also.

 

We should definitely try to get a Z06 lined up for our September/October meet at MIR. It is best that we run in cool conditions to minimize heat soak.
