What else is parked in your garage besides your AMG? I like muscle cars and street rods and was wondering if I'm the only guy on here that does. And, no my E55 does not sit outside, the '66' Nova does.

By the way, all the cars in the photo I've had for at least five years. Haven't built another "Hot Rod" since I bought my first AMG and might NEVER build another. The AMG is just that good. The Cobra replica and the Camaro are quicker than my E and the Nova is close up to about 100. After that, it's all AMG.

Just seeing the actually garage itself and I'm already jealous. It must be nice to have a four-car garage.

Love that Vette too. Looks fast. Mighty nice garage it's sitting in. What else is parked in there?
This is my third and largest garage so far. 30ft. deep and 50ft. wide. Every car in the photo was built in it.
The '68' Camaro was built seven years ago as a father son project. My son drove that car to high school every day for four years. It's my favorite of the bunch. It's set up for handling instead of the drag strip with a radical injected LT-1, six speed, and a 125 shot to take the worry out of being close.
The Nova was a former drag car brought back to the street. Lots of motor, no traction... even on DRs.
The Cobra is a Factory Five with a Rousch 347. Quick as hell, (as it should be at 2,000 lbs.) but really scary at 120. Never lost a stop light to stop light race in this car accept to a bike. Haven't tried a new Z06 yet but feel pretty confident I've got him till I shift to 4th, at that point I expect he'll go thundering on by.
But, my E will spank them all badly over 100.

The Nova has the same 406 small block used at the strip. In race trim it ran high 10s with a 4-sp. Dynoed right at 650 hp. Changed the cam, carb and gears for street use but it still just overpowers the the small DRs I use on it.

Beautiful Vette!! I loved it when I first saw it appear on the TV show.. I had a C5 myself and came very close to getting the Caravaggio wide body conversion like you did.
Show them the pic of your trunk!
I don't think most of these guys know that your car has been on a popular TV show...
P.S-> Welcome to MBWorld!

Very nice!! Enjoy in good health!
Do you have an MB in your lineup somewhere?
There isn't quite as good an aftermarket for the MB parts as there is for Corvettes, but some of us are trying to improve on that.

haha, thanks bro. the car is not just a c5. it is a real z06. Caravaggio did the conversion to make it a vert and then did a widebody. And yes, me and my son were on Unique Whips back in February of last year. Here is a pic of the trunk.

I'm a huge fan of old stuff. The first picture is of my first car, 67 Mustang Vert. My pops bought this car back in 70 as the second owner and I took over it when I turned 16. I just finished this car this year. It's a SBF with a fogger set up. The car should run high 9's on a small shot and drag set up but it's mainly a cruiser.
The 72 Bronco is pretty much my daily driver. I have the hard top off right now for the summer and it's just a fun vehicle to drive. I absolutely love this little truck. I can't tell you how many times I've been stopped by someone wanting to know what it is or someone wanting to buy it from me.
The 50 Ford Truck I'm buying from my Dad. It's another great cruising truck. The truck needs to be brought up to date with current trends but it has a bunch of goodies on it already. It has a SBC motor, disc brakes, power rack and pinion steering, coilovers up front. It's a nice piece.
The last picture is my old Cobra. I sold this car about 2 years ago but I thought I would share with the fellow Cobra guys. It was a Superformance car with a 427 Sideoiler with a Tunnel Port 2x4bbl set up. This car could break the tires loose at almost any speed. This was the only car that ever really scared me.

That's a nice C5, way2evil.
I have a 2003 C5 Z06. I minitubbed it, slapped on some HREs, a Vortech supercharger @ 6psi and a set of LG long tubes. In this trim, it ran 10.8@129.
I needed more power, so now I'm in the process of building a new motor and putting on an APS twin turbo kit. I got sidetracked the past 4-5 months with some house stuff, but I'm back on track now.

Wayne, good to see you back around here. How is the TT Kit coming? That thing should be crazy when it's done. I ran into a guy up in Damascus that was running a TT set up on his Vette, just over 1000hp. He couldn't hammer the car at all on the street. Welcome back bro!

DJ, it's going slow now but at least I'm making progress. I've been really busy with my house since early this year.
How's your place?
We should have you and the missus over for dinner/drinks/whatever.

The new house is great but it has kept us busy. The people before were old as dirt and didn't really put much into the house. Let's plan an evening out with the wives! Make sure you chime in on the MIR trip thread. Should be a great get together.
speedpeddler, sorry for jacking your thread a bit. BTW i want your Nova. The 66 and 67 body style has always been one of my favorite cars of all time.

C5, Z06, same thing
I put down 544hp/465tq with 6psi on the S Trim. It would have easily made more with a pulley swap on the stock motor. I planned on swapping to a T Trim and running 10-12psi that way with alky injection on the stock motor.
