it has lighting pack vent seats nav...no park sense, distronic or pano roof or electronic trunk closer.
it is midnight blue with charcoal interior 63 trunk lip.

I have been putting quite bit of time the last two weeks into researching pricing on these and here is what I've pretty much come up with.

I looked at an immaculate 04 loaded with 18k and could get it for 47.5,but the car is five model years old already and the new warranty expires this Dec.Per a friend who is a service mgr at a local dealership DO NOT consider an E55 without some form of factory warranty, virtually none of the 04-05's I have seen have the 7/100 one you could have purchased new with the car.The woods are fulls of clean low mile 04-05's in the 45-55 range but most of even the 05's will be out of warranty by end of next year, then what? Not like they are grenades but I can only imagine what a trans for one of these is installed at retail. So I started looking at 06's and they are between 65-72K for lowmile one's but at least you get a little peace of mind for that extra 20K.So then I rationalized forking out another 5-7 K for a low mile second owner E63 from a dealer, get it CPO'ed and purchase the 1/100 extra warranty and sleep at night.I originally wanted a 63 anyway but the whole tranny deal sent me in the direction of a used 55,but my dealer buddy says they just change the valve body and reflash them and they are fine..so I just bumped myself another 30k by doing research-

Vicious cycle!

A very good post. Exactly what happened to me. Looked at 55 from 03-06 and ended up leasing the 63. Wanted to keep my options open for a twin turbo in 2009 or 2010. Also, many problems were noted here with the SC. The NA engine is smooth and power is ample.
