Newbie taking delivery of 04 E55 on Sat.
Hey Everyone,
New to the forum......Taking delivery of my 04 E55 this weekend. Quick question, is it common to break the 12 second barrier (11.85) (Enzom's time slip) with a stock 04 E55. I noticed the slip shows 1.76 from 0-60'. Most times I have reviewed on this thread are low to mid 12's.
Also will be looking for advice on modifications. I have a Master MB wrench that has a garage 1 mile from my home. I think he is going to be my new best friend. I am very intrigued about Victor's 80mm TB...........
Looking forward to years of fun on this incredible board.

While possible on a good track, I wouldn't call 11's common. ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
My personal best is a 12.2 @114 ~2700ft DA on street tires.
Welcome, and start a tire fund now. Trust me.

2004 E55
Welcome to the Beast club. Enzom's car is a freak of nature, I don't think 11's happen to often stock. I have taken 17 runs with my stock E55 and the best time was a 12.45 with a 1.8 60'. My car does however have 58K miles on it, so it maybe down a few HP.

Thanks for the warm welcome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got my E55 delivered to me on Saturday. What an exciting day. Lots of compliments from my friends who were over for a 4th of July weekend party at my home.
This is a great board and I have already received tons of advice from everyone. I look forward to lots of fun with my "BEAST". Now the slippery slope is about to start. I noticed another recent thread about modifications, so I will not start another one but will closely watch and read. I do want to modify and I have a Master MB tech that has a garage 1 mile from my home. He is going to be my new best friend.
Thanks again to everyone. I will post piks as soon as the rain stops here in Maine. Any Newenglanders out there, I would like to hear from you.
