Airflow restriction?
Hello fellow enthusiasts, I have a question that has been bugging me and I need to resolve it soon.
I drive a CLS 55 and currently do not have my front license plate installed due to not having the mount for it. Now that I have the mount and the front plate, I went to install it and was horrified… why you ask well, the dam thing cover ¼ of the bottom duct!

Now my question is which of the two ducts is more important and what do they do?
· The top grill?
· The bottom grill?

forgive the noobnes as i can gather one is for engin air and one is for cooling, but i am not sure.
