E63 Shopper: Need Advice
I am considering a E63 w/premium 2 for my next ride and looking for help with some questions. First I lease my cars, drive about 12k miles a year and trade out after 3 years. I have seen a lot of these cars for sale used with less than 5k miles and asking price is on avg about 10k below sticker. What do these cars actually sell for new and for a used 2007 with <5k miles and knowing the 2008's are here in a week or two if not already, what kind of pricing should I be shooting for? I own a M3 now and this is my first MB - BMW covers all the maintenance so basically my only expense (excluding any mods of course) has been tires. Does MB do the same? If not how often is maintenance and what is the cost? Just trying to do my homework - if anyone has any other info I should be aware of please feel free to share. Thanks.

Benz did away with service a few years
asside from tires, brakes will wear especially fronts with the slotted rotors, tires, wiper blades which even they can be pricey i know they were on my 220 S Class years back, then oil changes where they rip you off at the dealer
my suggestion do a 24 month lease
I think BMW and Audi include the service because they fall apart and people arent buying them as much who knows.

I am also in the market for an E63,or a clean low mile 06 55 with 7/100 warr.So far the best I can find on a P2 63 with around 5-6 k mi. is mid seventies.Waiting for just the right color combo and options and of course price- i believe trade in is around 70k,and there are several on ebay/autotrader in the 75-80k price that aren't flying off the shelves.I agree the 08 should see the 07 being had in the low 70's soon-such a shame they drop so much but a whale of a car for that price!

I just picked up my S63 today but I was shopping pretty strong for a E63 and best 2 year lease I came up last week was $1411/mo for 24 months on a 2007with nothing down. That was a great deal but didn't want to get a car that was going to change body styles in less than a year. The E63 was great just on the end of the life cycle. I would lease...I have lost too much money on buying cars.

I'm not sure about the pre owned, but the best possible one to have(per a freind who's service mgr at a local mbz dealership)is the one purchased at time of delivery. It's in the area of 4k for the 7/100,obviously not for the lease crowd but mandatory if you're keeping the car for an extended amount of time. When the car goes bang it pays for itself and is attractive to a potential second owner. These are not cars you buy with a year or two left on the 4/50 JMHO

service is basically every 10000m. and the first one is free. Not sure what the cost is after that but its not too expensive. as for options, make sure u get p1 and p2 packages which are a necessaty and forget the distronic. its useless. I was getting a e63 for a friend about a month ago and I got quoted 1099/36m 12m/year and 6000 down. and this is in cali where prices are jacked up.

Actually it was 999/M with 6000 dwn. for a brand new E63 wht w/pano.(also another must hav option)... shop around, right now there is major factory incentives from mercedes in CA. Where you located?

I am in Texas. 999m sounds really low to me! This is for a P2 with Pano roof? 36 months??

I think the 24 mo $1411/mo with no money down was a great deal that I was quoted. I know there was one blk/blk P2 in Texas that there were going to trade for just last week. MB Credit has great money right now on that car.

I called MB where I live here in TX and they are telling me the incentives on leases from MB ended as of June 30. If there is still something available in another area please let me know. thx.

Talked to a guy at MB in Anaheim I think and same story. Told me lease special for E92 is history and claims it was for a base model only no P1 or P2. He is telling me nothing down and 1400 mo/36 for P2 with Pano.

The best way to move into one of these cars is to assume someones lease. No money down. There are some cars here available and others selling at seemingly large discounts . I would tell the dealership in Texas you found a car for xxx in another State see if they will come down. 999/month plus tax 6k down is the deal many people were getting.
