Kleemann,Schrick and AMG SLR.Who else has cams for our cars?Renntech?Anybody have some actual measurements of these different tuners cams specs?
Do the 55 NA motors have different specs than our motors? Ive worn the search button out for this evening.

And yes the cams in the 5.5L F/I engine are different than the cams in the 5.5L N/A engine according to PTE's research.

VRP has a set of cams in the works. It is a custom grind to our spec. They are in production.. 2 samples are being made to be checked to make sure clearances and everything else are ok.. We should have them in 2 weeks.
They will be higher lift, with a change in overlap and change in LSA. The cam will be slightly lumpier but nothing too radical. It will be a complete drop-in replacement. Based on the setup of this cam we suspect idle will need to be raised from 550RPM to around 700RPM. This can be done using Star Diagnostic very easily.
I dont have a firm price yet but I estimate $3,000 for the pair. This price will change depending on how many sets we run.
