My 80mm TB almost KILLS my Cameraman (Vid)
...................So, I'm excited because I just installed the latest and greatest E55 mod. and to see if it was worth the cost of admission I needed to get some track numbers. So I head out to the Wednesday night test-n-tune with a cameraman at my side to record this epic event.
After a 45min. drive, we get to the gates and the dragway decides to close at the last minute due to threatening weather.

On the way back home we decide to at least get a little footage of my car in action on a country road. Frightened by the sound of a screaming SC the cameraman's step backwards was undesirable......... with a drainage ditch nearby.

My CLS55 sounds like a jet engine firing up when standing outside. If I am inside, I cant hear much.
With headers and a few other mods it sounds bad ***. With K4 it sounds like a jet engine with full throttle. Its quite an amazing sound.

i have filmed mine in exactly the way rock did, apart from a little whistle initially as the accelerator is mashed, its pretty hard to hear any whine, its definitly not like rocks! And hear nothing when i roll down the windows either...

I am not positive but I think the SC scream is mainly due to the larger SC belt. As far as the exhaust sound (that you don't get a good idea of in that clip).......................... Primary cats removed, Kleemann ceramic coated headers, Kleemann downpipes, resonators remain and stock exhaust. I also think the sound of induction and exhaust noise has changed since the addition of the larger TB, but that may just be in my head.
