About once every couple days I'm getting a message that says BRAKE service, visit workshop. I looked at the pads, and there seems to be plenty of brake pad left to go. Anything else that would trigger this message? They flushed out the system when they did the SBC brake recall a year or so ago.... car has 26k miles...

I think that is a non-specific display message. All it really tells you is that there is a malfunction in the system. Your SBC and brake fluid is probably fine.

ok, thanks.... my C32 came up with something similar and it was the brake pads..... can't remember what it said back then....

Take it in to the dealer- they'll find a code for a brake light switch stored in the "events" code in sbc
