E63 impressive vs. 2007 Z06

hehe, this thread is entertaining..
Juice, the Z06 is much, much, much faster than a 63. I can understand your excitement regarding these stunt drivers telling you that the 63 feels faster, and that is ok and great to hear, but just be aware that the Z06 and the 63 are not in the same league when it comes to performance. Sure, if the driver of the Z06 is not competent and you race one from light to light you could win, but that can be said about nearly any two cars if one driver is competent and the other is not.
Both great cars, both cars should be enjoyed for thier intentions. The 63's intention was not to compete with the Z06 when it comes to performance, and the Z06 was not meant to compete with the 63 when it comes to daily drive ability and comfort.

I try to be over 1/4 tank. The more weight I can keep over the rears, the better I get out of the hole. At track rentals, I notice that if I need to fuel up because my gas light goes on, my launches greatly improve once I drop a few gallons of fuel in there.

You talking about drag racing or going around a track? I walked a Z06 going round Willows, but I'm pretty sure the Z06 had more. I was pushing the E HARD. In a straight, I'm pretty sure the Z06 just eats us up.

First of all, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, so shut up. Better all around performance than a vette? ARE YOU ****ING STUPID OR WHAT? All you have to do is stomp on the gas and the tranny does the rest. My friend has an 05 E55 which I've driven many, many times so I know how they are. Smarter? what the **** does that mean? Its gonna do a mathematical equation for you as you drive it? its gonna read a book? Post as many videos as you want. Simple common sence tells you that the ZO6 is superior to your 63.

Ya and whats even more impressive is the cls driver was inexperienced on the track and with the car and Im assuming the Zo6 driver was too but at the same time, with the type of raw power the zo6 puts out, You'd never expect a 4600lb stock 4-door sedan to even keep up to the z06's rear view mirror yet the cls beat the vette 4 times on the track
and btw it was two different zo6's not the same one.

that just cant be possible. the only explanation was a retarded z06 driver. the e/cls weighs almost twice what the vette weighs and should be walked by the vette on any track and any drag strip

this thread has mutated into once again AMG vs Z06 due to the lack of comprehension by some of the readership.
We all know the appx weight and power of the Z, we all have our own battles we have been faced with. The thread was about a major network show featuring Mercedes Benz not just the 63 but the 65 and the SLR, likely the Black series as well.
During a scene filmed on NY STREET Paramount Studios, Hollywood CA
A E63 was being chased by a Z06. The drivers had about 2 weeks seat time in each. I simply walked up and asked each driver which car he liked.
Both responded the Mercedes.
I asked about speed, and got this: "The Merc is faster" I said , faster than the Corvette? "I beat the Z06 light to light more than once". I said wow so the car is comfy and fast , "the ultimate", "it is a rocket sedan".
Thats it, no big deal. We all know the Z06 is lighter which makes it faster , no argument from me. The Z06 is faster, does it win every race against the AMG ? Is it as easy to drive? Is it as comfy? A race is a race, you fail to run the car to its potential you may lose. It was all an opinion and it seems to have insighted some ugly unecessary commentary. Z drivers openly admit at the 1/4 mile drag strip the car is very difficult to keep to the pavement. A couple wheel spins and it makes for a much closer race

I didn't mean to mutate this thread. I just don't see how an E63 could hang with a Z06 light to light. I'm sure it has hapenned somewhere that a Z06 lost, but that don't make the 63 faster. You talk quite the talk, why not line up and show us?

I have lined up with the Z06 three different colors 3 different days, 3 different drivers, same result
