05 E55 RennTech on eBay for $30k ..

This guy on ebay is selling a RennTech 05 E55 for $30k .....

so I emailed him.....

"Hi,
I apologize for delay.
The car is in great condition, no accidents, clear title.
I am selling it because I am in the middle of divorce and I have no other alternative. I must tell you that the problem faced until now with the selling of the car is that I've settled in Greece and the car is here with me. Still, the vehicle is registered in the States and has a clear title. The car drives and looks brand new and has an accident free history. The price for the car is $30,000 including shipping cots.I have a friend at a shipping company who will manage me a low shipping cost. My suggestion to end this deal is eBay services for the transaction. If interested let me know.

You can email their fraud dept, but if they're anything like autotrader, they will tell you that they will look into it but can likely do nothing.

They are still trying to pull these tricks! I thought they would ge tlittle more sophisticated these days!

They gave me the same story 2 weeks ago when they had a SL65 for sale for $58,000. It's a bunch of Bullsh**!

I had the SAME EXACT reply when I asked a guy a question on a ridiculously low priced M5. He said he was in Germany supposedly. I called his bluff, because I have a friend over there that could go and inspect the car. He dodged that in his next reply. I think Ebay's fraud dept. caught onto him though! Hopefully no one is dumb enough to fall for it!

actually there's bunch of that still going on ebay. If you look at them there usually low price, description and pictures are not correct. As well they ask to email before bidding to a different email address other then using the ebay email system.

I wish Ebay would do something more effective

Scam!

That car (the photos shown) was listed awhile back on ebay from a dealer in Kansas! This clown is using someone else's pictures and claims he is in Greece.

Thats cool, because I am living in Greece working for the summer and can come over to pick up the car in person. With that being said, they willnever respond back....fricking scammer!
