New E55 Wagon owner
I am the proud new owner of a 2005 E55 Wagon. I've wanted one for awhile and finally took the plunge.
While I live in Florida, I found this car at the Mercedes dealer in Charlottesville, VA (is the former owner here?). It's fairly low mileage at 21K and CPO'd so I'm pretty comfortable with it.
I flew up yesterday and got home this afternoon from my 850 mile drive home. What a great time. Incredible car.
I like cars and this will sit in the garage next to my 07 335i convertible and 07 Corvette convertible. The 335 would be toast, but the E55 vs Corvette would be an interesting race
The car is pretty well equipped except it lacks the phone. From my detailed searches here and elsewhere it looks like a $2K plus install. Am I missing something? I'd want bluetooth.
I would also like to connect my iPod. From my research, there is a $300 or so Mercedes adapter I can have installed? Am I reading that right?
Other than that, the car is ready to go. New tires, fresh brakes.
I'm loving it

Really it is too close to call. Depends on the day and the driver. Car and Driver has tested them both.

Congrats on the new wagon! What color did you get? I'm down in Lauderdale with my silver e63 wagon and it's sure a blast to drive surprising so many other drivers with the performance of it hidden under the sleeper disguise of the wagon!

We're off on vacation in the wagon (thoughts of Chevy Chase in my mind) today. I'll post pics when I return.
