SLR vs. CLK DTM ... WHICH IS FASTEST?

because like i stated the inter coolers are not there on the DTM engine bay pic and they are kinda hard not to miss , leads me to believe there could be other things.
As to which i would take i think it would have to be the SLR.
SLR wins hands down as the head turner & status king. The DTM can not compare to the large majority effect the SLR has on people.
Speed sound power are also debatable.
yes the DTM is rare and is hard core, but most people will most likely not visit the track that often, or even drive these cars to their potential, let alone take them to a track.
If you look at the 3 or 4 big super cars that were out then (enzo/ carrea gt/ mursi/ and the slr) SLR won in some of the reviews
Now ask why?
Because as they claimed it was the easiest to use and provided daily driving abilities the others did not, i.e creature comforts with blood thirsty speed
and i believe this is one of the main reasons why we have MB AMG's

Anyone that has visited the Affalterbach engine assembly facility and has seen the two engines side by side will tell you they are very different. They may share the same displacement and are both kompressor motors but they are very different.
Don't believe everything you read.
100 DTM Coupes and they said they would build 100 DTM Cabs.

WOW, just watched the Revlovers video of the 2 going at it. Man, the DTM really gets it's a$$ handed to it by the SLR. The first time you say, "Well, traction...bad launch." blah blah. Then they line up again and exact same result. That was a trip. Really thought it would be closer.
Pretty much says it all below....yikes!

Common sense would tell you that a race between a "620hp, 575lb-ft" car and a "580hp, 590lb-ft" car with the same transmission and weight within 300lbs (advantage to the CLK) is dead even. From the video, it looks like the CLK DTM did not have 580hp/590lb-ft its supposed have.

also one comparison between the same two cars on the same day is not enough to deem 'yes SLR will always win in a straight' maybe slr is tuned, maybe dtm is runing bad... or it is all true and SLR woops DTM in the striaght.
Question though
which is better dry sump or wet thing i have no clue in this area. thanks (this is regurding our engines in extrame heat)

Audi's, a whole bunch of them
i say the CLK-DTM hands down, isn't the CLK-DTM produced in limited numbers like 300 and the SLR is more like 1000, but i believe both have 55 engines, just tweaked and tuned differently
