Saw another E500 yesterday drive by, and from a different angle it only looked cheap (diagonal view from the rear). I think my judgement maybe be clouded from jealousy.

its based on the "avtangarde" line which is not avalible in the USA, or am i wrong.
we have here Classic, Elegance and Avtangarde
never heard of "sport" or "luxury" lines here

Felix, in North America - They have Sport and Non-Sport - Non-Sport is equal to Elegance and Sport is Avantgarde. I do not think they have a classic line over there. The picture of the interior at the top is that of an elegance car beacuse of the dials, like you said the avantgarde has different dials.

It's a 320 Elegance interior.
It has no Thermotronic so it is a 320.
The only Silver E Class(which this is) at the Sydney Show was an E320.
