TCU from CLK DTM...

I wonder if we can do this to our cars...anyone knows ???

I shall ask my dealer tommorow...

It will definately make the car shift faster and run better at higher speeds but would trans last long ???

Does CLK DTM has upgraded clutch packs and other staff ???

and by the way, what ever happand to that deal on TCU and EGS Adam and Victor were offering...

Who did this upgrades and what was your findings ???

Adam or Vadim would know for sure, but pretty sure DTM TCU is programmed for 3.06 and you would get the famous "limp mode" when car recognizes different gear ratio.

My 2.82 experiment bombed (just wasn't worth the cash), but the TCU reprogram was real nice. I would look into the VRUS TCU flash. Shifts are pretty cool after. Real punchy.

Hindsight always 20/20, but I wish I would've went all the way and went 3.06 rear, then DTM TCU flash. Shift patterns woulda been completely screwed up, but what fun tryin!

Its sucks...but why you have prob with 2.82 gears...MKB says it works great and car is faster overall...

I think before we should have our TCU done, our trans need to upgreade with new clutch packs aqnd some other staff, in order withhold more TOGUES...

But i have neard anything more on those modification and if anybody done them here
