M5/6 world about to be turned upside down

hmm TTV12 vs NA V10? not much surprise. I dont think anyone claimed the M5/6 is unbeatable uptop. they have similar HP, but VASTLY different torque numbers, and curve. 600 will always get a huge jump, and then it will even out above 120 or so, accelerating about the same but not letting the M car catch up. the only way a M car would stand a chance would be starting at 80mph and already be in M mode in 4th gear.

Ummm, I said he gave the M cars the jump. You will clearly see it in the videos. The M cars were on a exotic cruise, they were DEFINITELY in M mode and P6billion or whatever you all call it. It was a high roll (didnt look at exact mph). I didnt say your car will be upside down, I said the m5/m6 world would be. Go over to m5board and see how they think the M cars will walk all over any benz up top. This was done to discredit that and prove the point I've been trying to make all along... Theres no magic behind the M5/6. Numbers are numbers and physics will always prevail. No badging will effect that.I will let you guys know next time I am up that way.

Really nice! cant wait to see the videos! i heard the CL600 was really really fast, modded, but fast anyway! even superllegera and 07 gallardos could't keep up with M5/6 let alone the CL

Oh, lol, sorry! I'm not sure the exact numbers, he can give you that. I believe he put down over 535whp on the dyno. Give him some time, I'm sure he'll be checking in soon. He's busy trying to transfer the vids to the comp and then upload them.

He can probably answer that better than I can. Only time I saw an encounter was with a claimed stock SL65. I was behind the 2 cars. The SL65 lost by 1.5-2 cars to high speeds.

I was thinking about you last night (and not in a sexual way
) I got a call from my brother-in-law last evening and he wanted to stop by my house to show the family car nut (that's me) what he had picked up. Now remember................. this guy likes cars but he is not what I would consider an enthusiast.
So, I'm out washing my E when I hear this thunder rolling down the road. I look up..... and what do I see?????? A 997TT rolling down the street. Black on Black and looking wicked!!!! I spent the next two hrs. driving his car and explaining what this machine is capable of. I even had to go over the 2,000 mile break-in procedure with him. haha
The car was an auto and pretty much loaded with the exception of ceramic brakes. We already have some highway and track runs with the E planned.
He asked me a question that I could not answer. Do this cars come with bluetooth or is it even offered?

The bluetooth option sux in the Pcar. My buddy rolls a Cayman S and the phone option is that you take out your SIM card and place it into the car so it will be fully integrated and it is like a 2K option from what he told me. Very fun car though to throw around in the twisties. I imagine the tt is even more fun.

I think ahmad may have thrown a few of you off in the beginning of the thread by referring to me as "drivenagain" which is another screen name i go by on other boards. Trying to upload videos now, having trouble but i promise its coming. This was an amazing event with with some super exotic cars, modded M5's M6's Gallardo Superleggera, ferrari 575 barchetta F430, u name it it was here....500HP would only keep you "with the pack", these guys drive hard and fast in the straights and the twisties, yes I said twisties...I took some high speed turns following 6 lambos on the way home thru the poconos and I was amazed at how she handled.... For us benz guys whose cars get trashed in Gustavs videos "falling on our faces" above 100mph, we should have some footage that proves otherwise.....The races arent the 3 honk type except for one, most is just raw footage that I will try to assemble. I let EVERY car jump me, i do this on purpose so I have no excuses for myself, no one is more critical of a true race then me...i like to reel people in
