2004 MB E55 AMG
It came with the girl....
My recent marriage has made me a co-owner of a 2004 E55
I found this site a couple of days ago, had a lot of questions about the E55, did my searches and can't say I have any questions at this point! Excellent board. I had an M3 before we were married, now we just have the E55.
It is currently in the shop, the transmission went south due to a leak in the cooling line that runs thru the radiator. Fortunately its covered under warranty, but the cracked wheel isn't Anyway, just sayin' hi and hope I can contribute in the future

Dude, you must've really wanted that AMG to marry a girl just to get at it. You should fit in this forum. But seriously, welcome and happy driving.

Nice...my first wife had a CRV and only lasted a couple of months. The CRV is still running I think...

A bunch of wiseguys, I see... I have never owned a MB, have been in the BMW and Porsche camp for a long time. When I had my M3, when talking about me and my girl, I handled the curves and she handled the straights. I still have a strong preference for curves.
But this is a car board, so I'll just say that the E55 is a beast, much like my '02 M5 but softer. And to respond to the question on what date it was made, I'll have to check when it gets out of the stealer's shop.
So far I've learned about iPod integration (I had Dension in my M3), Bluetooth integration (what a puck is!), upgrading to navigation and that the little paddle shifters will not fit an E55 (yet). Now to secure an extended warranty and get it out of the hands of the valet in our condo building.
Thanks for the welcome, guys!
