I like to post like this to "get to know my future brethren"
I am looking at a '03 E55 and am wondering what to look for?
Common problems (I already read about the i/c pump)
The car has 48,000 miles on it and I hope I can add her to my stable.

The only problem I ever had was the "stalling" problem fixed under warranty...do a search on the fix for it ("stalling" under W211 subforum)...

I dumped my temporary 03 b/c it was gonna cost $2500+ to add nav/new brakes and another $3500 for extended warranty. Miss the Techtite Gray tho.

03's are fine cars. Some of the real early cars had some bugs but that shouldn't be an issue at this point I don't think. They didn't have NAV and other than that, it's an all around great car. I don't know what your budget is but I have an 04 for sale. See link below. It's still under warranty and it's has almost 50% of it's brake life left. Good luck with your search.
