I be the viper turbo will destroy everybody! No heavily modded E55's? Oh and you should change the Ford GT40 to Ford GT.

The owner of the Ford literally called it a GT40 when I spoke with him on the phone. Is "gt40" more old school?

Tell Victor to bring his broke a** E55 and run it down here You guys need more than an ASP pulley...bring it, don't sing it!

Yes, GT40 is old school. The new one is called a Ford GT.

No need to trash talk, if it was closer I would've brought my car out. I will have plenty of vids at my track rental. Too bad none of the M's have stepped up for the challenge.

I have two professional videographers (one is a local emmy award winning camera man) taping the event, in addition to the passenger-perspective cameras that will be in each car.

We'll then be editing the full length DVD and making it all look pretty.

Is it too late join. I am looking into shipping my car out there now. What is the zipcode that I need to have my car transposted to and do I fly into Dallas?

The date got changed to a later date because of this. Post #75 says so. So you'll have enough time to make it. We're gonna need a modded E out there to take out ALL those M's

It's never too late for my fellow MBWorld folks. I moved it due rain in the forecast every day this week. In fact, it's been raining since last night and it's still going as I type.

My ZIP code is 75034. You can ship it to my house I'll look out for it and then you can fly into DFW airport (or DAL which is Dallas Love).

i doesn't look like it. there was a chance my buddy (a modded 996tt) and i were going to transport our cars but things just aren't coming together...even with the new 1 week extension it's not looking promising.

...which is why i'm glad you're thinking about representing a modded e55 out there.

Be sure to get the VRS belt wrap kit, or better yet, put some lock-tite on your pulley. I don't want any excuses when I walk your car
