Mercury Platinum Warranty
Hey guys.
First things first .. I just recently bought an 03' e55 and the car is amazing. Glad to be a part of this fortunate community of AMG owners.
So, the car is still under factory warranty until Sept. 11 2007 .. so, i basically have a couple of weeks left of warranty and have been looking at extended warranty plans.
from research and what I have read .. it appears that the Mercury Platinum plan is one of the best out there, though a little pricey.
How manny e55 owners here have the plan? and have you had you had any issues?

If you search on them, you will find mostly good experience, my own being one of them, with a 911 Turbo.
They REQUIRE that you have 30 days of manufacturers warranty left before theirs kicks in so you may be without coverage for a couple of weeks ... unless you convince them otherwise.
Here's another option, a good deal lower cost and still bumper to bumper.
