03 04 free maintenance
I just bought my 03 e55 and the warranty expires on sept 11 2007 .. basically 2 weeks. I would like them to go over the car while still under original factory warranty and while i still have the free maintenance.
What is including under the free maintenance?
and what should I have them replace/inspect etc?
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

So far, I have only had to pay for tires and gas with my car and nothing else.
Additionally, get the IC pump replaced if they will do it for you. Check the car out thoroughly over the next week. With some dealers, it can be 1-2 weeks before they can get you in for service, so you may want to try to schedule an appointment ASAP before your time runs out.
yeah i had them do the IC pump already the first week i got the car.
If I ask them for a copy of the complete service history are they obligated to give it to me?
.. also, what about windshield wpers and spark plugs? would they do that under maintenance?
as far as the oil goes .. it says 8K miles before i need an oil change ... problem is .. the last oil change was done in December 06. and the car was sitting for months until i bought it.. so i am going to try to get them to do the oil.
(BTW car has 40k miles)
Thanks

The maintenance rules according to my dealer in Michigan are when the car calls for the service OR 1 year from your previous service. As I am only putting around 5K/year on the car, I'm on the every year plan.

You could try the "this supercharger chirp has been driving me crazy" excuse and see if they would replace supercharger clutch under warranty. Bout 1000$ part without warranty.
Other than that......not really much that they could swap out.
