You might be able to speed up the sampling rates by turning off some of the PID's that are being monitored.Meaning only monitor a few items,like AIT's,ECT,rpm,timing and boost.My software seems to sample decently fast.

Looks like a neat and simple solution. Basically has a microcomputer in a box, instead of using a Windows based PC or Pocket PC. Cool alternative, and maybe just what Rocket wants.
