CCW SP500 Wheels on my Silver e55
Just bought these wheels from Torquey55 (BTW great forum member) ... CCW SP500 Forged Aluminum Wheels-mirror polished finish 19x9 & 19x10 with Bridgestone RE050A 255/35 & 285/30 tires.
Wheels are beautiful and in great condition .. but, not sure how i like the look on my Silver e55 .. what do you guys think?
Initial impression of handling is much better; better cornering and much less wheel spin on acceleration.
Anyone who still has stock conti-sports 2 should burn them !!!

I know that folks like the HREs and IForge rims, but I have a preference for CCW
and Fikses. Had those been in 18" I would have grabbed them up instantly.
Congratulations...they look fabulous on your car!

Thanks for the comments ..
I also agree it looks a little too "shiny" or "chromey" for my tastes too ...
jangy, tell me more about how to airbrush it.
as far as offset goes .. i dunno .. i think Torquey55 may be able to answer that.

thanks again ... I appreciate all of your opinions.
personally, I dont mind the simple 5 spoke design at all ... its just the shiney chrome look that bothers me.
however, these are def. some of the lightest and best constructed 19" wheels i have seen.
jangy's airbrush idea i may look into .. what do you think of that?
anyone know where to go and how much for that?

In my ownership of these wheels I have never had anyone say anything but how good the wheels look on my car. If they are lying to me, then great. And NO, I don't want to here negative comments from the forum members. Please let me live in my little fantasy world. These wheels are freaking great and look even better!
If you want to reduce the shine, what about having them scuffed with a slightly abrasive polish to a matte finish?

Any good powdercoating place can color them right up.
