Need Help Finding an E63 With A Good Lease
Hi All,
I'm new to the forums and I'm currently at the end of my lease right now with a 2006 E350. I have 3 months left on it so I'm really interested in leasing an E63 this time, but it looks like I might have missed out on the $999/mo special a few months ago.
I went into a dealership today in SF and they quoted me $1,700/mo & $10k down for a $95k sticker model that pretty much had everything I wanted (They had at least 2 - 2008 models in colors that I liked).
Does anyone know where I can find an E63 with a 2 or 3 year lease with monthly payments around $1k-$1,100/mo with $0-$5k down and minimal drive off? Is it still possible to find a deal like this or am I over my head? I'm willing to drive as far down as Socal. Please help. My wife tells me that if I can't find one then I'm forced to go with a Lexus RX400h. There's nothing wrong with that, but I love Mercedes and I would like to stick with it.

Have you thought about leasing or buying a used E55? The car has been depreciated and will cost you much less. You can stay withing your budget (actually come in lower).
With the extra money you can take the wife on a trip....and tune the E55 (which is a great motor)!

If you tried you couldn't pick two cars that are as far apart as those two! That $999 lease deal just comes once each year and looks really good now. Any dealer with a decent inventory will work with you. I keep hearing that $1,700 payment and it really scares me. Calculate what you will pay and then go dick with them, if you are patient you should end up with about $1,200-$1,300 and 6K down with the P2 package. This would be for a left over 07. To get in an 08 you will pay the full freight, probably.

I think you need to look at the deal. The deal above at 800 per month with 7-8K drive off is way better than 1400 per month for 36 months. Just doing some simple math and leaving out other variables, the 800 per month would save 21,600 in lease payments over 1400 per month and net 14600 with a 7000 down payment. I like the idea of keeping my monthly payment as low as possible. You give up some cash that you probably are not earning **** on anyway, then get to drive off for a reasonable monthly payment.

You might want to try www.leasetrader to take over an exisiting lease. don't settle on a car without a P2 package as min. option list.
good Luck.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The best price I was able to locate was a $95k stickered 2008 E63 with $0 down and minimal driveoff at $1320/mo with tax out the door. 36 month lease and total driveoff including first payment, tax, tags, etc at around $2,700.

Thanks, I didn't get it yet but I'm going to wait a few more months (My current 2006 E350 Lease ends in mid December) so as soon as it runs out, I'll probably go for this deal. It doesn't seem like they do remaining lease buyouts, but I'm not in a hurry so waiting a few more months is not a big deal to me.
The place that quoted me for this is in Newport, CA. They're called Phillips Auto Leasing and basically it seems that they offer lower money factors than Mercedes Financial due to 3rd party leasing banks that they deal with, combined with their ability to get cars at wholesale. Has anyone heard of them? It seems that they do a lot of high-end luxury car leasing.
