Anyone with Mercury have their airmatic covered? I see the pump/relay was but what about the actual shocks/struts that seem like $800 or so.
That's crazy.
When I had the Mercury contract it was exclusionary, meaning it covered everything unless specifically excluded.

Would they exclude suspension parts, my guess is no.
Your CU person is not helping.

Get a copy of the Mercury contract and check it for yourself.

He sent me the policy and shocks/struts are wear items and not covered. Mercury is still an exclusionary policy and wear items are excluded. I clarified if airmatic is different, as it's not a typical shock/strut, and that was the response I got.

I have the Mercury Platinum warranty on my 2003 E55 which I bought at the end of my MB warranty. I believe I paid around $3,000 for a 6 year from date of purchase 75,000 miles (total) warranty. I had heard that they were thinking about dropping warranty coverage on cars with superchargers. The only extended warranty work I have had done was to replace a couple of TPMS, which I believe cost around $700!!

I wonder if it would be possible to get another 3 or 4 years and go to 100,000 miles when my current coverage expires?
