That is a guy that has burnt up his motor and then rebuilt it and now he is trying to pawn it off on some poor unsuspecting ebayer. Cylinder Head knows more about it. The car is junk, even at 35k..

The car does not have a burned up motor. It had a crank shaft pulley issue that rounded off the woodruff key and that required the crank be replaced. So yes the motor was torn down to replace the crank but the internals were not fried. At that price its an ok deal. Its not like he sent a rod through the block or fried the heads.

Cyn is right on the money.
That was our resident Carbon Fiber madman. Interior has a boatload of it going on. Motor has some too. He spent like 17K to put the car back to semi stock after he toasted the crank key due to improper install. This must be the guy who bought it off him....I think.
I would make sure you had a dealer pull service records to see if she has been in for any problems since.

ohh no i didnt buy it off him .. i just browse ebay from time to time to see what the e55's are going for.
though the care could be running perfect ... i would never buy a modded high end car .. usually indicates a car that was driven hard .. just my opinion
but .. i wish my e55 had only 19k miles like his
