Talking Video: 200mph in Delimited M6-SleeperX Observer

Just thought I'd share this high speed run I did with you

Closed track
No Pedestrians
No Traffic

BMW M6 delimited with ECU reprogram by AA
At top speed the rev limiter was only at 7100rpm and the car has an 8250 rpm limiter. there was still more to go

Video YouTube

SleeperX thanks for attending

Jidex, thanks for inviting me out. We had a great time.. Yep, I saw that run. I was driving on the opposite side of the road and saw you flying by. I couldn't even tell what kind of car it was...

Drives Slowly
Wow!!! Now that's just plain nuts. When I see a video like that I'm wondering just how light the front end has become at those speeds. A car can easily go airborne traveling at that velocity and the slightest road imperfection can spell disaster.

Can you imagine getting clocked by a cop on a run like that? I don't think that even the late Jonny Cochran and OJ jury could help you get out of that one.

Be safe friend.

Nice run! How come it stopped at 200mph? Is it programmed to stop at that specific speed or what? Just curious.

The HUD keeps on reading speeds past 200mph and has gone has high as 206 on an M6 in Germany
I was rapidly running out of track so I could only hit 200mph
Cheers

True, please edit your quote dude. Lol...and yeah, I just want to meet up in NY and check out there rides. Nobody in their right minds would run cars like that in the states. The videos were clearly made in Mexico.

It really is a private track and the only one long enugh to hit 200mph and sit on it for approximately 15 seconds before the run off strip comes up.

-no pedestrians
-no traffic

Big time...big time!!!! Glad you noticed
3rd and 6th are the real hard pulling gears.
6th takes you right up to 186mph @8250rpm and 7th takes you home.

Its a real shame because the E63 should have been AMG's answer to the M's top speed superiority.

Exactly... good opportunity therefore to bring out a E63 Black Series with tighter gearing - but the auto aint so easy to change in terms of gearing as the SMG is ... mbe its time they start looking at a PDK or dual clutch system or something ... one thing is for sure an SMG box on K cars would blow up just off idle and maybe get you 4000rpm in a 63 before saying byebye ...
