I use Worlds best wax, and get it from my local auto salon. It was developed there in house... and has 75 or 80% carnuba content inside and is all natural with NO silicone, and smells very nice, It's around $80CDN for a small jar. He also makes another with less carnuba for around $50. This stuff make the paint look like a mirror, esp. if you clay bar first the paint will look like it just came from the showroom.

easiest to apply and easiest to remove with the best protection: Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket (FMJ) buy it and thank me later, Menzerna is used by Mercedes on the factory line

I have had at least 6 coats of Zaino Z-2 PRO in the last 2 years. A good wash & polish and it shines better than new. It looks dripping wet in the right sun. The pics don't do it justice. Zaino Bros Products are all my Detailer uses, and he is seriously into his work. Also, those awful Love Bugs come off with a garden hose no problem after a fresh coat.

There are many fine waxes/polymers. Zaino is not a wax but a sealant. Zaino (and others like it) will last much longer than a carnuba (like S100, Pinnacle Souveran etc.). My car is not my DD so I don't care about longevity and prefer the look of a carnuba.
more important than what wax you use is the method and products you use to wash and dry your car. Is your car Obsidian black? if so, you'll be helped by it being a metallic. If a flat black you're almost assured to induce mircro-marring into the paint. It's really tough not too.
Claying the car is a good idea, especially if it's never been done before. Just make sure you use small pieces of clay at a time and if you drop a piece on the ground DO NOT USE IT AGAIN. Throw it away.
Make sure you use high quality micro fiber towels and wash mitts. Anything that touches your car has the potential to scratch the paint. I buy most of my MF towels from pakshak.com - not sure if they ship to you.
Definitely spend some time on autopia.org and you'll learn a lot. If you have any questions feel free to fire away.

Several MB's Superperformance MK III Cobra
Trust me I have used many different waxes and sealants and tried the Menzerna FMJ. I am very pleased with the results. I had used the 106FF polish for some time and decided to give the FMJ a shot and am glad that I did. To really get some pop on dark colors try using their glaze followed by the FMJ. The results are the best I have ever achieved.

I did try the blackfire line after hearing it was similar to Menzerna but lasted longer. I can say that Blackfire Wet Diamond is extremely similar to FMJ but
that it lasts as long as zaino. FMJ is a great product with the depth normally only seen in a carnuba wax but it lasts far longer than a carnuba wax. While FMJ lasts a while Wet Diamond lasts likely twice as long and still offers a very nice level of depth (something you dont get with Zaino which is still a fantastic product for a light colored car).
The BlackFire ceramic clear polish is based on the Menzerna polish but it offers a bit different oil base that makes it easier to use and it also is easier to remove.
I personally think BlackFire Wet Diamond is ideal on dark cars that are daily driven and zaino is great for a light color car or a user who prefers shine over depth on the finish on a dark car.
As far as a single line that offers the best system of polishes and protestants I have to give the nod to BlackFire. Zaino's ZPC leaves a lot to be desired and their all in one product is upstaged in nearly every way by Klasse AIO.
But I will give a solid recommendation to Zainos new Clear Seal. I now use Clear Seal on my White E350 daily driver every time I clean it. Its the ideal simple and quick method to keep a car shiny with minimal effort. I also tend to use clear seal as a protection extender on all my multi step detail processes.
In the end almost any wax can make a car look great but crazy finish care people like me can find strengths and weaknesses in all products. Also the color of the car makes product selection more difficult because some colors have unique "needs."

zaino is the way to go! go to their website. i used it on my last car which was black, and nothing was better. my current car is silver, and it still makes it look amazing and wet.... but if your car is black, you will be in love.
