Don't get your shorts wound up. I didn't realize I was avoiding the issue. ABSOLUTELY, the 63 stock was outrapping me all day (does that mean final MPH? I got faster as the day went on (see attachment), but I I'll definitely confess to "losing" that.

I don't understand drag racing.
I came to run against you, because you have wanted it for so long and the E55 crew wanted it, too. E55 (stock) vs you, side by side, 1/4 mile time. PERIOD. That was my mission, which I forgot to collect for.
I showed up, NOT knowing who you were. You came up, were cool as **** and even did most of the work with your tools to swap my DRs on. You treated me old school style and that is how the Crews down here roll, so I appreciated it. Any crap I talk to you or 63s is competitive juices () only. I got no beef with you, so just mellow out. We can discuss the intricacies (sp?) forever, since I have alot of drag racing to learn.
I've never given a **** how good I am or any of that stuff. i didn't even "prep" the car in any way. I got my family safe and just took off. Plus, I even said that Greg beat me ALL 4 times that he and I raced AND that the races were fair. What more do you want?
If the consensus on this forum says that the ONE SINGLE be all and end all metric is the trap speed, then that is where the drag racing competition between us goes. You guys decide. Heck, I like the heads-ups, because at least then there is some skill involved. I assumed it was ETs that mattered. If not, let me know and I'll prepare for November.


By the way, all this smack aside (and I did SPANK Trez 3 times easy), you are a cool cat and I'll definitely come to more meets with you all.

That is why I wanted to get more power on standby so that the launch would be fun. It slowed me down, but was fun. My best launches were straight punches. No spin at all.

Yes, we can move on. You outrapped me 8 out of 8 times. My best trap was better than your worst (against me). Is trap speed the speed at 1/4 mile?

I never said you lost?

You won heads up, a red light is a red light.

If you want an official heads up race we need to be more professional about it.

You drove better than me in our heads up races.

when racing stock cars its a drivers race and no way would I drive a car thats down on power due to being too hot. This is why I let the car sit , to maximize each run.

I would have never "hot lap" to decide anything, we never said ok here we go best 2/3, etc. My trap speed comments were more out of concern rather than trying to suggest I beat you because of it.

Lets just chalk this one up as you getting a feel, learning the tech and rules, we can design any type of race you would like. Its fun and you my friend have a great feel for those lights. My car ran the fastest 63 time (stock and was a mere .07 trailing the renntech cls). I appreciate the data you posted but its easiest for everyone to just scan the timeslips, most will agree on this day the 63 was faster and you were the better driver.

Nah, on the body. I'll be back for sure, but no longer stock so someone else has to take that honor. I'll be dynoing, too so I'll see if I am dropping something at the top end. I wonder if it is running rich and just dumping. Dunno.

Either way, no doubt that the 63 and 55 make for good playmates.

Try spraying a shiet load of wd40 on a microfiber and dap it on at first then wipe it clean. Works like a charm..

What numbers you posted off on your own are for you to keep. I don't play that game. All I can talk to is the times I lined up against people. I lined up all day and made 54 passes, so ANYONE had a chance. I made it clear when I showed up that I hate drag racing and that I was simply here to beat 3 people in the 1/4 mile (which I was thinking ET only) and SIDE BY SIDE.

You and I lined up three times and you got WALKED. I'm just messing with you because I know you, but that is what happened. If you went and Iced down for another hour and finally ran a better time, then good for you. You should have saved that run for an E55.

"My best time...."....get outta here. Line up and win or lose.
