You likely do not wanna hear this but..............guess what?

Da on your best run was 148 ft
Da on the run in the afternoon was 678 ft

Likely the reason the trap was off.

You ran the car in near perfect condition, the track elevation was nearly erased by the good barometer.

Great runs , my suggestion...

Go to TOYO 888. get that 60 ft to 1.6-1.7 and a sub 12 pass is YOURS.

And yes Black cars are faster!!

Here is your last pass corrected to the DA of the run at 11:56 12.17. You ran a 12.17 both times but trap was 115 on the earlier run and 114 on the run later in the afternoon.

E.T. 12.178 (sec)
Trap Speed 113.90 (mph)
Measured DA 606 (feet)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Corrected to 148(feet) DA
Corrected ET 12.12 (sec)
Corrected Trap Speed 114.46 (mph)

So the runs are very similar and yes your trap speed is down a little, likely slightly higher IAT during the afternoon.

Your car is a consistant beast and will definately have a chance to break the 12 second barrier

With 1/2 correction factor for the Kompressor cars, I don't see 1/2 inch of mercury costing me 4 MPH. Maybe 2. Chalk up the other 2 to heatsoak and a bit of beltslip up top.

I had a set of Drag Radials at the track but was focusing on street trim launches.

Here's a few more pics:

Look what I found in my passenger-side airbox after the hero runs.....

Talking

The fun factor was astronomicle! I didn't personally run my car til 2pm and got atleast 10 slips in a role! I had my good friend run the car with a stock filter then a K&N then a Green filter with time given in between to cool of engine. I will post times with the different filters once I get them from my friend. I will add that my personal opinion is that both aftermarket filters are definitely better then stock but the difference is the same with the aftermarket filters. I did win against Waynes' E55 once but it was cause my friend who Wayne permitted to run that mighty E55 did a massive burnout wasting enough time for me to get a win but on the next run I was handed an a$$-wooping by the E55 with the same driver and passenger I hope to make it to the next one in Nov sometime.

Yeah, 4 mph is way to much but it did account for something.

That is a rock? Or a petrified intake from the W210? LOL, kidding samas!!!

So maybe .7 mph due to DA and heat soke likely sucked your powah. Man I wish I lived by you as there will never be a day i have a race track to myself. We were close in Palmdale but the 5k DA sent folks home depressed.

So what would your car do at -1000 ft?

LOL.

Thanks for the PICS

That was interesting being sideways at the 330' still burning rubber - as a passenger.

Thanks again for coming. I had an awesome time, as did my dad. It was his first time to the track. I'm glad they let me make a pass with him in the car.

Dude, your car has some serious torque issues. Even with me in the car, you had no problems spinning the tires after a perfect launch. Wish I had that problem!!

If you want to come over one day, I would be more than happy to install that kit you were thinking about.
