Track Results @ New England Dragway 10/17/2007
Hey everyone....
Went to NED last night and did a bunch of passes. Had two passes last night that were sub 12 seconds, a new personal best for me 11.921. Here are the actuals stats:
RT .581
60' 1.793
1/8 7.713
MPH 91.95
1000 10.04
MPH 118.00
1/4 ET 11.921
Burnouts and launches were really good last night thanks to assitance from board members, you know who you are. The weather was ideal till 8:30 pm than the temp and dew point matched and the track lost all of its traction.
So I am looking forward to the Winter (not really) and start Phase II of modding the beast. Probably a new crank pully, IC upgrade and whatever else I can be pursuaded to buy. I had a great time tracking this season (track closes 10/31). I managed to get over 50 passes under my belt over the year so lots of practice. Feeling pretty good and most importantly comfortable around the track. The E55 always gets a lot of attention at the track and the announcer knows the AMG and has a good time with me and the car.
So, I am bummed that the season is over but looking forward to more mods over the Winter. Won't be spending as much time on the board as I have in the past but will visit from time to time. I suspect when I get modding again this Winter I will get active on the Board again.
