Кleemann SLR Coolers installed !!!

Provides extra 0.3-0.35 boost to the cylinders...each cooler work for 4 cylinders...Makes extra 50 HP and 50 TQ...
On G-tech with K4 did 0-62 in 4.3 sec (0-60 in 4.1) on regular sandy road at cold temps before installation and now 4.7 cause it cant hook up anymore

I am not sure if this car is in Moscow, cause I know most of moded E55 owners here !!!
Who is kit is this Evotech ???
Kleemann have brought 4 of them...1 installed, another one will be installed as we speak and I dont kow about others...

You really need cold air intakes otherwise you're just sucking in the hot engine bay air - kind of defeats the purpose of the $$$$$ intercoolers.

For the amount of cheddar those kits run, you'd think they'd make the motor look better than a Mustang lump. With the amount of fabrication that presumably went into developing that kit, why wouldn't you pipe some CAI's from the front end? SCHTOOOPID.

On the pics those filters are opened...In real life they are closed with tube on top with tube and fit in the stock intake location...Like a stock tubes but much bigger diameter in the middle, that the filer fit there and it will work like CAI !!!
There is also some EMS block system which work as complementary to ECU...removes all the LOAD limits etc...and requires extra pump...they say it make on dyno another 30 HP...So with full package Kleemann E55s are very close to 700 range now !!!

We have tested this set up for over a week know and results good and bad...
Good: that it makes extra 0.4-0.45 BOOST tot he engine at WOT...more then we expected...this could LEAD to HUGE power gains...SO far Kleemann USA gained 50HP and 50 TQ with this mod...
BAD: The air intake sound now is so loud, loaders then exhausts, the car sounds like a rice rocket 30 PSI TT now, sucking all this air, at WOT you will get headache quickly...So now you hear engine intake and exhausts car is much louder overall...
Too much even for ME and I have Eisenmann Race mufflers with Header and
NO CATS which sound quite loud for most of the people...
Other thing this is that the air box with like SC IC under the coolers now started to bleed and we loose boost...We fix it but tested today with boost 0.7 to the engine ( we think the box started to bleed again) vs K4 E 55 and K4 is FASTER...so the system is not quite working now as it supposed too and the car also runing pig rich...

I still don't see 30rwhp to the tire with any of these kits. I can get the intake air temp way below ambient and see only 20 rwhp. I also don't believe the rumor going around about the pressure drop across the factory ic.
I would think the slr style kits would drop boost not increase it due to the blower having to fill a larger volume. (just my 2 cents)

Before boost was 0.5 to the engine, then went to 0.85 then when it started bleeding airbox under SLR cooler (instead of SC IC) started bleeding, it showed 0.7 boost...We have the this thingy wired frotn the engine and attached with plastic tape to the front windowm, lambda is the rear mufflers, is knocks only 3 with it and before is was 7-8...the car is runnig pug rich at 0.67-0.7...
Albert...you are right about the BOOST...I am actually scared to do my heads cause of this porblem...With heads flowing to much air our SC might not be able to supply all nesesary air and we could loose BOOST...We had this problem on SC 4.4 M3...before the heads car made 724 HP with 1.2 boost and we did heads, after 5000 RPms the boost dropped to 0.5, so the car acually became slower, cuase SC could blow more...therefore need had to get much bigger SC...
