Blacked out E63 AMG
We just ordered a Dynopac 4 wheel hub dyno, So I will post exact hp increases once that arrives...which realistically probably will not be for a few weeks, and we are planning a dyno day/weekend for any and every enthusiast soon after the dyno comes in, and obviously there will be *special* discounts for MBworlders!
Please keep me posted on this dyno day event. I'm guessing this event will be on a saturday? Hopefully?
Thanks

your gonna get drone. no need to change stock mufflers on our cars.
Ya, he wanted it "as low as we could go".... So we did what he wanted (even after advising against it) and when he came to pick it up, He loved the look, but realized that it was not a functional daily driver that low, so we adjusted the settings to be a little bit higher on both the low and high settings

To whomever was replacing their secondary cats with an X pipe (
WTF?), I'm a little confused. Why would you put an X pipe so high up and then have tubes and mufflers?
It seems to me that you would loose ALL top end and we are hurting for that as it is. At high revs, our SC becomes a limiting factor with how much air it can actually allow through. Any mod you do to the intake or exhaust could greatly exaggerate that tendency. To me, getting air throught the system efficiently is what a great tune is all about.
My choice would be to cut the resonators AND the secondary cats and replace with straight piping. Yes, this will drop some boost, but if your car is modded (which mine is headed) you will be adding back boost anyway. Having Xpsi of boost doesn't make it strong. I have seen systems that reduced pressure and yet were able to perform just as well due to high efficiency. Anyhow, sorry for the threadjack.
Great looking setup. Were the chrome inserts painted on the car or removed? Damn that must have been lots of work.
Thats a loud car
Most of the carbon is a kit ordered through RENNtech, but there are a few of our own custom carbon pieces...
The door pins are made in house out of solid billet
And the ESP off switch is stock, but the speak button is for the KENWOOD headunit's voice activation
Some of our vehicles are made to customer spec, the rest are given to us to do what we think looks good.
