55 wagon, I didn't mean to attack you, either. I apologize for that. My concern is simply with the tuners selling things that they may not have enough information on.

Your intention to do ECU vs pulley for warranty issues is actually testy. MANY people have been getting busted in California (especially on the 63) for ECU modifications. In fact, the newer cars have a seal on them that makes it obvious if you have removed your ECU.

I hope you are fully happy with the tune.

I am anxious to see 55Wagon's dyno results, as well.

Over in the SL area, one of our clients posted a dyno that was pretty impressive. 489.6hp at the wheels. He had headers and K&N filters, in addition to our ECU tune. I'll post it here, but you are welcome to check out his thread.

I will have it dyno next week... the SC is shutting it down after couple of runs... I have johnson CM90 and Green filter install this weekend...

I dont want to be dynoing and the sc shut down due to high IAT.

BTW: what is the different between cm90 and cm30 ... which one should I use?

Do a search and you will find much info on the cm30 and how it is installed. This is the pump most use to replace OEM. Merc also have an updated pump that you might want to look at (its free if your pump is failing!)

cm90 is a monster pump and is huge and is hard to fit. Plus some argue it pumps to much and might not help as the coolent does not have enough time in the tubes to coool the air. Still not sure if it is good or not
think stevebez has it installed on his application, ask him

A slow Tahoe!
I'd go ahead and put an upgraded heat exchanger on it while you've got the pump off.

Had 90 on for a couple of years now and just LOVE it.

No issues here. These things are such heat monsters, I say the more flow the better. IAT's hold consistantly around 130-140 range on hard accels.

EVO cooling kit was a necessity of course, without it, she ran through the roof even with the 90.

Without pulley mods etc, you should be fine though Wagon.

Yup

Using the retarded Autotap, but I just called and read them the riot act on how few samples it does. They helped me setup the program so that just IAT's would be running and he claims it will log quite a few samples per second now.

Will get from fresh data when I get some time next week.

Who knows, maybe you the 90 does move fluid too fast and the 30 would be better. Just from personal experience, I have been running the ASP, with ECU and all the other toys on her and never had supercharger shut off once with just the pump inline....no extra heat exchanger. System wasn't even separated so I really attribute that to the high flow pump being able to clear the lava out of the supercharger area fast.

I did however finally do some data logging and notice that it was running pretty hot though under hard accel. Near 180 (ouch). Installed the EVO heat exchanger and all seems to be well right now.

I have the CM90 pump, and it wasn't hard for my tech to install, but it did take them a long time. Had to use bigger brackets, hoses, clamps, and piping. I have pics of the pump installed on these forums. I have a dyno chart posted in this forum as well. You can see how linear my power curve is now. The power is there all the time. Even after repetitive runs. I have videos in this forum too, SL55 vs. M5 vs. LP640. MY power is always there now. Absolutely love it.

LOL at you guys. Let me draw up a dyno chart real quick. I'll also fab up a time slip and sell you guys the Janginizer 2000. It flat out makes your car faster, even when sitting still!! Believe it! In fact, call my cousin and ask him. He loves his and says the customer service we provided was top notch! By the way, does anyone know how the hood latch works?

Yes, but will you be able to hold the price down on the Janginizer 2000 to be able to compete with Veloce?

got the dyno...... did not claim what it can do... yes it did increase, but not to the claim number.
Going to dyno 1 more time.. cause it was a different dyno operator than the first time.... every person has a different way of doing the dyno.

What was the increase? 20-30 instead of 80-90?

It never claim 80-90 hp........ My MB tech has my dyno sheet... He is going over it with Dino. I really dont want to give out the number until we are sure that is all it can do... never know, maybe something is wrong with my car. that why I am putting JP cm30 and green filter this weekend....

So again....what I know so far....

1. did not make the hp claim.
2. it did increase hp and the drive is good.
3. different dyno operator, same dyno machine, may make a different.
4. something could be wrong...
5. after the 1st dyno pull, the 2rd and 3rd pull were a big lost in hp.

I dont work for Veloce, and I dont want to bash a company until we are 100% sure.
