the car with a full tank of gas will loose..

or the car with low tire pressure will loose

or the car with an extra body will loose..

#'s like this always get big attention...

I ran a 12.35 this spring and had a accelerometer on my car and ran a 3.98 0-60 time (the acelerometer was within +/- .007 of the recorded track times). My 60' was in the 1.86 second range.

I ran a 12.16 with a 1.799 60' time. Does my 0-60 time get to high 3.7 range?

Lot's of E55's run 12.0x's and a few in the high 11's stock so no my times are really no big deal...

What is more interesting (and impressive) is the type of of 0-60 times are the guys clocking 11.4'-11.8's on this forum are running (and there are a lot of them)...

I am guessing a 11.5 is in the 3.5 range to 60, maybe less.

dude if thats real thats the greatest sig ever...

I will need such perfection to go sub 12.4, its kinda exciting that you did this man. I hope you can get a few more runs in to inch it down a few tiks. Thanks for the dragtimes bump!! And thanks for participating in the sport!

Now that I am "getting" this stuff, I see a few things differently. I agree that the pipes not being in place hurt me and I think it may be at the low end. I should have had better 60 times, which would have gave me better traps.
Anyhow, I'll get them back and we'll see the next time I meet up with Greg ().

What is this drag times? Is that where I should post my 54 slips?

Back on topic, a heads up race is all driver between these cars. The saving grace for the 55s is the ability to make such dramatic differences with about $5 - $10K worth of mods. Once the 63 gets forcibly aspirated, it will be a monster to deal with. It is the same philosophy that MB used to launch the '03 55. There are 2 ways to gain power. Displacement and Induction. The 55 had it, but once the 63 is boosted I may need one.

Anyone around the Charlotte, NC with a stock E55 or E63?
I'm in Charlotte and would love to race you. My car is a 03 E55. Let me know.
