The updated Gallardo in '09 will have to have atleast 590HP cuz of new RS6
Audi owns lambo, and they know that the Gallardo is and should be considered atleast one whole car class above an RS6 in terms of performance especially. There is no way they would make the mistake of having a four-door wagon and family sedan be able to outrun a Gallardo in a straight line or any line for that matter... they would have to be completely out of their minds to allow any such thing to occur.
I'm betting around 600 HP for the updated Gallardo V-10, and then the Murci engine will be bumped to up over 700 or 720 HP to keep it definitively at the top of the range of Lambos. And don't forget Ferrari will be coming out with the F460 in 2010 which will most likely have atleast 560 HP and be even way faster than the 430 Scuderia!!!
Lambo and Ferrari better make sure that the coming updated Gallardo V-10 and F460 be able to hit 60 miles per hour in no slower than 3.2 seconds, and hit atleast 210 MPH or more in top speed to be considered "Definitely Faster in every way than" the upcoming twin-turbo V-10 RS6, TT M5/M6, and TT E/CLS 63 AMG.

(BTW, I don't know if this belongs in the E55 section...)
And yeah, sorry, I only put this thread in this e class forum because it has to do with the mid-level sedans too, like the E63 and RS6 and M5.
