forget the M3,look at this true track car.Its 3000lbs and has every bit of true M power all over it.It also comes with the same engine as the 335.

This car will kill the M3 sales.

6 piston brakes, carbon fiber everywhere, very light weight ect...

It's way too small though. If you like itty bitty cars it would be ok.

You call that a tune?! That's horrible...and that's with the smoothing @ 5 and standard CF. I'd love to see the A/F on those "curves", I bet it looks like hammered *****. That really doesn't say much at all for the driveability of the tune, never mind what that's gonna do for the longetivity. 98 Octane? Ugghhh...

with the procede v2 you can tune your own torque curve down low to what ever you like. This was going from 90% to 85 then 80 and back to 100% from 5k on.

they let the person fill in the values with a laptop for every 100 rpm

here is the sae chart with the same car being stock, remember this map is not a public map yet,the final map will be alot smother, they were basically trying to find out the max the turbo can flow for the top end. This car has been running for the last 6 weeks and has over 140 dyno runs on it.It hasnt blown up just yet lol.

+1

The raw numbers will keep the fanbois coming, though.

I can't wait to see what this motor put out in a year. With upgraded turbos.

Have to agree, it's a impressive car for the money, it's gonna be a hit for tuning, but ours is also, and we start at higher level and potential is bigger, so no problem at all, harder for M5:s they will be smoked!

I think there will be more of this in future, smaller engines and forced induction.

A friend of mine has a Skyline with allot of power and it's moving fast but I like the sound of a V8 or V12 thou...

Probably we will be the last generation that have the possibilities to drive big engine muscle cars, sad I think.

Well, I have both the E55 and 335. One time when I had to go to BMW of SF to take the bimmer in, my brother had the 335 and I took the E55. We didn't really intend on racing but it just happened on the roll going from about 30 onto 110 we were going and I am amazed by how the 335 was keeping up very well. They are both stock, but after a while the power of the E55 took off because of the weight difference. It was surprising because it was one of the first comparisons I had done. The E55 is a great car just a little heavy so the 335 had an advantage for being a tad lighter. Will try again stock vs. stock.

reading that i can not help but feel, you were under the impression that you would walk him, so you took it easy.
Try racing like you mean it to give the real view (i.e down shift to right gear and go from there with three honks)
