I've yet to see a drag strip that rents helmets, but almost every single track (oval tracks) has them available for rent.
If you can find a race track close to you, they'll allow you to rent it for $15 / day

The helmets are expensive: they range $300 to $1,000
Did you try calling your local motorcycle stores and ask if they can let you rent one? Also, if you have a race track close to you, they'll let you rent it as well.

I don't think I want to rent (borrow from fellow members yes, but rent may be not).... I remember I went gokarting and rented a helmet there.... man, it was quite nasty. I washed my hair numerous times after that to remove the smell.... But MB_FOREVER, thanks for the advice.

If you, Tony and Oliver don't plan to drive, I could pick all of you up.... Tony could give me some tips
you don't want me to embarass evotech, do you? :pJust remember I may need to leave a little early (if we're still there past 5PM). I'm sure other members could drive you back home....

I just bought mine for $280 after trying a million of them on. I had to go through 4 stores to find an XXL helmet
I guess they're rare
