So how do we know whether the event is still on or not? Wet track (which means even light rain) = cancel?

I'm still waiting for my helmet.... hopefully I could have it before this event.

BTW, I bought one from bellhelmets.com down in Costa Mesa.... so could any SoCal ppl who's joining kindly help to visit them on Friday if I haven't received it by then? You could visit them, smack their heads, pick it up for me, bring it to the event.... and I'll buy you lunch

Johnny, is there any way to find out if it will rain before we leave? Otherwise, it will be one painful 9-hour trip

Forecast is sunny based on weather.com It should be cleared out starting Friday afternoon.... plenty of time to get the track dry.

http://www.weather.com/outlook/homea...hr_topnav_home

High: 55; Low: 37; 74% humidity

Lets hope the storm does exactly that.

Yeah.... I hope so too....

Otherwise, painful experience ordering a helmet will be a waste....

4th store, 50 more bucks and 3 more days to receive.... Seems all the stores don't have any open face in large size I start not to like ordering online (no backorder notification ).... phone is better. Hope I receive it on time and hope the track is dry.

Negative, the 99 (at least the part that goes through Bakersfield and Delano) is much nicer and newer than the 5. However, it is out of your way to take the 99 (by about 18 miles only), you should stay on 5 and I can meet you guys at the point where the 99 merges back to 5.

Is there any place in California that sells 93 octane exactly or do I have to mix 100 with 91 to get to 93? If not, do they sell 100 octane at the track?

Do some google searches of race gas and the sac area, you should find a station that has it at the pump.

Last time I made that trip,the 5 seemed smoother,and less bridges(bumps).

I'll have my good wheels on,so I'll be on pot hole watch!

I was hoping they have it at the track, if not, then I'll have to search for some.

Josh, didn't you go there before, did you ever see a place on track that sells race gas?
