This whole issue has continued to drag on and on, as you know. It seems clear that the 63 got bad press here due to being the "new kid on the block". I recall many stories about how "slow" it was. There was the "evidence" that really only amounted to "butt dynos" by mechanics driving the car around the block and saying it was slow. Probably some of this trash talking was because the car was touted for so long as being a faster version of the 55. Some people on here with stock 55s would say "I'll race any 63". Very recently, "at the track" this notion about slowness was proven wrong. The new issue is "the 55 has been beaten in a legit, heads up, and documented race" and E63 owners have a hard on. Can they carry the momentum into the next contest? The rivalry is heating up.. especially right here in this post. The trash talking will continue.
