[QUOTE=tommy25000;2497670]it says 50+ hp increase. has anyone ever seen anything near a 50+ hp increase with JUST a asp pulley?!![Popcorn](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/popc1.gif)

Yes it will give you 50HP and around 80 TQ. The stock ECU can re-map more fuel to accomadate this pulley to get that power. Even with the Asp Pulley, the car still runs a little rich. You probally could squeeze another 10-15 HP with a tune. It just depends if you think that's worth another $1200? You really should be worried about the cooling with this pulley, so I would get a 160 Therm from Peter on this board and do an upgraded I/C pump if you can. After that if you can replace the stock I/C with a bigger one, That will get the most out of the ASP pulley. I have it on my car and I have done the 160 Therm and upgraded I/C pump ( Johnson Pump) It did make a big difference. You can feel it in your seat for sure, it's night and day. Good Luck.

I've seen 40HP out of the "smaller" oversized (oxymoron?) on a few and 50HP out of an ASP with no other work at all.
I'd want to see the gains from ANY tuning at that point and for those prices. I'd pay for a simple timing increase (accross the board) and to kill the limiter. That is simple and should be cheap, but it isn't a "tune".
Can someone send me a link to how the 160 Therm helps IF you have an upgraded IC setup?

It just continues to help keep things cool. On my car before it, once I ran it hard it would hit 100 on the temp guage and stay there. Since I installed the 160, it never gets that high any more. In fact it will go up, but after a couple of seconds it pulls the temp back down. It's probally a combo of the pump and the 160 therm but it can't hurt. Alot of the heavy modded guys here have them.

Yes I had a brain fart when looking at their website and saw later it was still $799. I am waiting on Vic as well for his pulley last I read he was waiting for the removal tool to come in before he starts shipping. I think he is asking $1,200 for a 175mm.

175! Wow! We have been using 168mm to a max of 172mm. With our experience there has been overheating issues beyond 172, which will require further mods, etc. So, keep in mind..the bigger the pulley the more heat......and heat will shut off the SC.
