Midwest Drag Day results - my first 11's :)
Thanks to everyone who came, and thanks to LET Motorsports for sponsoring the event.
We had a good turnout, about 15 cars. Weather was perfect, low temps, high pressure, low humidity.
A few folks turned their personal best, myself included. I ran 11.9x @115.xx three times throughout the day, putting me in the 11's for the first time. Car is stock save a johnson CM30 pump and BFGs.
AMG-Jerry set a new record for a C32 - 12.4
Watch out, guys, his LET-powered car is for real. J 200I cut a sick 1.77 60' on stock contis, I believe a tie for the record.
C32used ran a PB as well, I think a 13.2.
There was another stage 1 C32 that cracked the 12's, but I can't remember if he had drag radials or not.
A couple of awesome mustangs were there too. The supercharged one was bloody quick.
I did see Victor (C32used) stomp on his buddy in the WS6 Trans Am.

jacek9478 ran a 13.2 as well.
*The Lowest E.T. trophy and detailing package was given to ENDSMTG. His awesome Evosport Stage 3 car was by far the quickest and fastest, running 11.6 and 123 MPH !!!
*I managed to eek out the Best R/T trophy with a 0.02 sec.
*The Racer's Choice trophy went to Dwayne (IlliniE55) in his beautiful 2006 Flint Grey machine. He was the high-miler, coming all the way from Springfield.
*The Slowpoke Award, along with a bottle of NOS Octane Booster, went to Jacek9478 I believe, who was a great sport about the (minor) ribbing he took.

Thanks to everyone who brought stuff; I don't think anyone went hungry.
One highlight of the day was running against a C6 Z06 in ENDSMTG's Evosport beast. He was generous enough to let me fling it down the track a couple of times with Drag Radials.
The Z06 asked for the "bust," meaning that I had to leave after he moved. Full of adrenaline from the day, I launched hard on him, forcing his shutdown at halftrack and the win.
The second race was closer, but the amazing torque of the E55 overcame the disadvantage of him leaving first - the E55 was ahead until the 1000' mark, where the Z06 caught back up. He passed me somewhere near the finish line, but we got the win light.

Pics/Vids/Slips to follow. Thanks again to EVERYONE.
My second run of the day (2nd run at a dragstrip EVER) was the best.
Actually, I was on PS2's not the stock contis, but still street tires and the car is totally stock!
Here are the numbers for that run:
60' 1.777
330 5.080
1/8ET 7.797
1/8MPH 89.82
1000ET 10.145
1/4ET 12.11
1/4MPH 114.82
ENDSMTG: Wish I was there to see your car take out the 07 Z06

Thanks to everyone, it was a great day and it was nice to put some faces with names.
Glad you all had fun, sorry I couldn't have made it. Make sure people post up their slips and vids.

Send some of those negative DA's out west for us!!!!! And we'll send you guys some smog...lol
I found one time slip of a C32 running a 12.3, so it looks like I have the second fastest one now.
A 12.4 with cracked headers isn't bad...

Jerry, congrats on this awsome run. Your C32 is on its way to become the fastest C32 in the country
I wish we had that kind of weather here in california
@ 2,200 ft. elevation, I was able to manage a 12.92 @ 109
Basically 1 full second faster.
Incredible times,
Looks like AMG was represented well that day

All I can say is congrats, you worked hard on that car and fortunately it has paid off! I think you need to start looking at drag radial setups... you can use your stock wheels and throw a set of drag radials on the rear with stock tires up front... you will be easily running low 11s with a good 1.7-1.8 60' - and with the DRs who knows man, you might even cut those down further.
Good luck bro, next spring should be very interesting.
