How does the hose running from the sending unit to the fuel pump disconnect? Is there a clip on the head (black 90 degree connection)of the hose?

Does anyone know if there's been any updates to this issue and whether MBUSA is starting to cover this issue? My 03 E55 had the recall three months ago and now the sending unit is cracked. They want 1900 to replace both side....ugh..

Would really love to hear good news from some folks who have gotten help on this!!

Hey guys, I have been having the same issue looks like they extended the warranty up to another 15 years. You can call Mercedes Benz 800-367-6372 and Reference TSB No. P-47-10-63. I called my local dealer and they were giving me crap about it. So trying to take it to another Mercedes Benz dealer nearby. I will update you guys.
